Saira, an introverted and emotionally withdrawn space princess, has just been dumped by her girlfriend - a bold, energetic bounty hunter. She would probably spend the next few days crying alone in her palace chambers, if not for the fact that her ex is kidnapped by a group calling themselves the Oppressed White Hetero Aliens, who demand a very peculiar ransom.
Forced to step out of her protective cocoon, Saira embarks on a journey into the unknown. Along the way, she must learn how to fight, pilot spaceships, and - worst of all - talk to other people.
Awarded at the Berlin festival and at the Octopus Film Festival, Lesbian Space Princess is a must-see for fans of Rick and Morty and Adventure Time. Its wild, internet-slang-soaked storyline is matched by equally inventive animation, resulting in a fairy tale made especially for those who finished school long ago - but never grew out of animated mind trips.
