As is typical at festivals, and Animocje is no exception, we're handing out awards. For the 15th edition, we'll be handing out at least a few, and the winners will be decided by 9 individuals who make up three juries.
The JURY will consist of: Nienke Deutz,a director and animator based in Rotterdam, founder of Tinsel Studio, whose films explore the narrative and visual possibilities of the animated form; Sawako Kabuki, a Japanese animator and illustrator based in Tokyo and New York, whose passion is butts; and Jakub Zasada, a poster designer for culturalevents, concerts, local and social initiatives, and independent films.
The JURY of the ZEF Film Educators Team will be comprised of women: Katarzyna Jaruszewicz-Kot, Kamila Szwarc, and Hanna Kroczek. A trio of film educators will present the ZEF Award in the Children's and Youth Film Competition.
Every year, the festival also offers young people interested in animation the opportunity to become jurors and select one of the winners of the International Competition. This year, the JUNIOR JURY will consist of: Maja Stańczyk, Wera Bukowska and Maja Turkiewicz.
