Kamila Szwarc
A film scholar, graduate in Cultural Studies with a specialization in Film Studies at the Faculty of Philology, University of Silesia (UŚ), and in Film and Television Production Management at the Faculty of Radio and Television, University of Silesia (UŚ). She is a speaker, facilitator, and coordinator of educational programs at Kino Kadr in Dąbrowa Górnicza. She is the creator and organizer of the Sofa Film Club, co-organizer of the 4th edition of the Regional Film Competition “My Idea for a Film!”, and summer film workshops for children and youth. She has served as a jury member at film festivals for children and young audiences, including Kinolub, Animocje, and Young Horizons (Młode Horyzonty). She is a passionate fan of Balkan cinema and the works of Michael Haneke.
