Due to the pandemic, the artists didn’t manage to reach Bydgoszcz, which made us decide to meet them halfway and visit the directors and producers in their workspaces. The result of these meetings is a series of interviews with the representatives of the world of animation. We went to six places, looked into large studios and smaller workshops, including private apartments. Listening to our talks, you will be able to see the artists during their creative work and learn some secrets of their occupation.

In Poznań, we visited Ola Smida (illustrator, director of animated films, comic book artist), Piotr Bosacki (artist specializing in visual arts, music composition and literature, lecturer at the University of the Arts in Poznań) and Ewa Sobolewska (producer, the president of the board of TV Studio of Animation Films).

In Łódź, we talked to Marcin Podolec (author of animated films, comic books and music videos), Joanna Jasińska (director, animator, lecturer at the Łodź Film School) and Justyna Rucińska, Anna Mroczek and Wojtek Leszczyński (the founders of Studio WJTeam, who focus on puppet animation and collaborated on Isle of dogs by Wes Anderson).
