Another festival day is approaching. During Wednesday's screenings, we'll present sets of the best animated films in the Children's and Young Adults Film Competition in the 12+ and 15+ age categories. In the afternoon, animation fans will be treated to a Q&A at Music Cafe Szpulka, where we'll chat with festival guests in a relaxed atmosphere. Moments later, we'll move to the Orzeł Cinema for the second installment of the Main Competition. Immediately afterward, the first curated screening, prepared by the Romanian animation duo Ligia Soare and Mihai Mitrică, will be shown on the big screen. They will transport us to a world of desire, love, anger, and obsession. It's going to be STRANGE. After a few hours in the cinema, we'll invite you to the MCK Foyer for the opening of an exhibition of posters by Jakub Zasada. The exhibition will feature over 20 posters from various years, many of which have been reimagined for the exhibition, allowing us to see them from a different, strange perspective. The day ends with a Japanese classic directed by Satoshi Kon. "Paprika" is a film that transcends the boundaries of imagination. Here, dreams and reality collide to create an incredible visual spectacle.

Thursday begins with screenings for preschools and schools. Films selected by film educators will convey important messages for every child, sometimes in a humorous, sometimes thought-provoking way. At 4:00 PM, we'll meet for a Q&A moderated by the indispensable Piotr Kardas. After the Q&A, the third set of films in the Main Competition will follow. After a short break, we'll invite you to an unusual genre experiment about the relationship between two brothers, prepared by two brothers from Canada. That's a brief summary of this year's next full-length film, "Endless Cookie." To conclude this intense day, we've prepared a unique accompanying event: an audiovisual tour of selected locations in Bydgoszcz. We'll get to know our city from a different, STRANGER perspective ;) We highly recommend it, and hope to see you there!
