15th Animocje. We're starting with animation STRANGENESS! [April 21]

The long-awaited moment has arrived, with the start of the Animocje Festival. Months of preparation, which is finally coming to fruition, is now available to users of the animation program. Tuesday begins with screenings of competition films for children and young adults aged 3+ and 7+. All seats have been booked, so the festival morning will be full of children's buzz. At the same time, young people from the Bydgoszcz Visual Arts Center will gather for a mapping workshop titled "Echoświatło," the results of which will be on display during a special event on Thursday. Additionally, in the Galeria Wspólna, we will be launching a two-day screenwriting workshop with Ewa Borysewicz, who will explore the secrets of alternative narratives in animation. For the late afternoon, we have prepared the first screening of the Main Competition, followed immediately by the first feature-length film, "ChaO," a story about the unusual, rather STRANGE relationship between a fish princess and Stephan, a gentle office worker at the shipyard. The day will conclude with a bang, with 78 minutes of musical shorts. It promises to be an evening of surprising sounds.
